Otis Donnie Hibbard Sr.

Otis Donnie Hibbard Sr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma passed away peacefully at home with family, 11 April 2018, age 82, of natural causes. He was born 5 May 1935, in Fallsville, Newton Co., Arkansas to Theodore Roosevelt and Hannah (Combs) Hibbard.

He served with the First Marine Division during the Korean War. After the cessation of hostilities, he was assigned to the First Provisional Demilitarized Zone Police Company. The company patrolled the Korean Demilitarized Zone enforcing the articles of the Korean Armistice Agreement

Otis married Myra Alfreda Coffey 25 Sep 1955 in Oklahoma City. He was raised to the degree of Master Mason, and was a lifelong member of Billy Hooton United Methodist Church. He was a master baker and longtime owner and operator of Cinderella Cake Shop in Oklahoma City.

Otis was preceded in death by his parents and 4 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Alfreda of the home; five children, Otis, Jr., Freddy (Julian), Jynon Hibbard (Alfons), Teddy, Alec H.G. (Aubree), and four grandchildren, Jackson, Allison, Jenna, and Katie, and three brothers. A memorial service is planned 19 May 2018 at Billy Hooton United Methodist Church.
